WHYBROW HOLD SUCCESSFUL CHAMPAGNE & OYSTERS FUNDRAISER!

Whybrow have successfully held a pop up Champagne & Oyster fundraiser in Colchester High Street in aid of St Helena Hospice and the Birkett Long £50 Challenge.

 

Thanks to the support of Fenwick, Toms Salty Shack, Amtik Nutrition, Wilkin & Son and Eclipse Music, we were able to provide a High Street venue with world class Oysters, tasty canapes, wonderful strawberries and music with dancing for all that came along.

 

Chloe Winter, from St Helena Hospice, said “Whybrow did an amazing job of pulling together a fabulous event in aid of the Birkett Long £50 Challenge for St Helena Hospice. The evening was a great success and raised valuable funds to support our patience and their families”.

 

She continued to say “The money that the Whybrow team raised could pay for a triage nurse for two days. It could also pay for a psychosocial support session - a team made up of social workers, counsellors and family support workers, helping families adjust to changes they are experiencing in their lives. Thank you to everyone that supported the evening”.

 

With less than 2 weeks to organise the whole event, the event team of Fiona Fowler, Coralie Douglas, Sam Parrott and Mandy Franklin did a great job and from a stuttering start managed to raise £350 for the Hospice. With a little more time next year, who knows what we could raise!
