Graham Hughes - Project Management
Graham explained briefly what project management is, particularly in the context of building procurement and how it can assist companies in this regard.

Nick Moulton - Disputes and their Resolution
Nick briefly covered the procedures and discussed the skills required by a Chartered Building Surveyor to deal with a variety of disputes, not just those relating to property.

Barry Whymark - Listed Buildings
Barry gave an overview of the Listed Building regime and outlined the rules governing them. This included an overview of any effects by recent changes made to permitted development and also the proposed heritage provisions of the Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act which is due to come into force early next year.

DP World Networking Event for Essex Businesses

DP World London Gateway hosted an event in the offices of its 1,000 acre logistics facility to celebrate and launch the completion of a new office development.

Over 50 guests from a wide range of businesses and organisations across Essex attended and were able to view the three berths of the state-of-the-art, semi-automated deep sea container terminal, while also viewing the significant progress in the development of the Logistics Park.


A new off-dock 5 Acre empty container storage yard is to be opened at DP World London Gateway Port.
