DP World Networking Event for Essex Businesses

DP World Networking Event for Essex Businesses

Thursday, 29 June 2017

DP World London Gateway hosted an event in the offices of its 1,000 acre logistics facility to celebrate and launch the completion of a new office development.

Over 50 guests from a wide range of businesses and organisations across Essex attended and were able to view the three berths of the state-of-the-art, semi-automated deep sea container terminal, while also viewing the significant progress in the development of the Logistics Park. Guests were also advised of the future ambitions and visions of this major Essex project.

The event marked completion of the 15,500 sq ft extension to offices within the DP World London Gateway Logistics Centre.

The Logistics Centre is already home to several businesses, including freight forwarders John Good Shipping and Westbound Shipping Services while Lidl has recently taken a substantial part of the distribution warehouse to the rear.

These new high specification offices, rated BREEAM – Very Good, are available to let through commercial agents Whybrow and offer an immediate opportunity to locate at this exciting major development in South Essex.

Nicholas Orbell,  Estates Manager, DP World London Gateway, said: “We are delighted that so many businesses  wanted to join us at the event , and everyone is excited about the opportunities that this highly integrated logistics facility  brings to Essex.”

Whybrow Managing Director Ewan Dodds added: “With a dearth of new development space in the region, the completion of this additional high quality, institutional business park office space will be attractive to any business that is looking to the future and is keen to establish itself as part of the DP World London Gateway story.”
