An attractive period office building in the centre of the attractive market town of Hadleigh, Suffolk has been sold by Whybrow.


Formerly owned and occupied by the founding partner of the long established engineering and building consultancy, Richard Jackson Partnership, following their move to Colchester the building was offered for sale.


Extending to circa 5,300 sq ft and offering typical period accommodation fronting the High Street, with a modern extension to the rear plus car parking, the building has been sold in two separate parts to a private company at close to the asking price of £495,000.


Acting for a Richard Jackson Ltd, the Vendor, the freehold sale has resulted in both a happy client and new owners.


The Vendor stated “The firm of consulting engineers Richard Jackson Ltd which I founded were nearly 40 years in these listed buildings, starting at No 26 then extending into the neighbouring buildings. They included a large extension to the rear with a linking glazed atrium designed by Hadleigh Architects, Wincer Keivenaar.”
